YOUTH CHIPS<br />
Our young buffaloes continue to run strong. Forty-two of our youth ran at the Cross Country<br />
Coaches National Championship in Evansville, IN on November 9, 2016. Several individuals<br />
came home with top 25 medals:<br />
6 year old boys - Matthew Valerio - 13th, Lucas Griffin - 25th<br />
10 year old girls - Angeline Gutierrez - 24th<br />
10 year old boys - Andrew Burr - 13th<br />
11 year old boys - Collin Graham - 14th<br />
(11-12 boys team was 17th of 36)<br />
12 year old girls - Riley Chamberlain - 2nd, Natalie Wieland - 3rd<br />
(now, that was exciting!) - leading their team to an 8th place finish (of 24 teams).<br />
13 year old girls - Anna Vogtmann - 5th, Hannah Wirth - 6th<br />
With spring track and trail running season underway,<br />
the Youth Chips look forward to a promising season.<br />
We currently have 40-50 kids coming to practice regularly<br />
and will be running the Folsom Trail Series on Thursday<br />
nights in May and June.
