Explore the Mekong Delta with a 2-day cruise offered by<br />
the Bassac, a traditional rice barge now converted to a<br />
river cruise boat to discover the Delta way of life. The<br />
Bassac Cruise is entirely built of wood, from the hull of<br />
an 80-foot-long rice barge. She can accommodate up to<br />
24 passengers in six nicely decorated cabins, each with<br />
air-con and a private bathroom, and features a 100 sqft<br />
restaurant that opens all around, a large galley, a small<br />
office room and 700 sqft of sundeck. The Bassac can<br />
take her passengers on cruises up to seven days without<br />
stopping, and offers great flexibility in programming your<br />

river barge, built in traditional style. The cruise<br />
offers a variety of options for travelling on or along<br />

11h30 -12h.00 boarding LE COCHINCHINE boat.<br />
Enjoy welcome drink and transfer to a local boat for an<br />
extensive visit of Cai Be: the floating market, the mazes<br />
of waterway, local pop-rice and sweets production.<br />
Le Cochinchine continues its cruise to Cochien. Lunch<br />
served on board. Enjoy walking or cycling in the<br />
countryside and discover the local life. Leisurely<br />
cruise on the Mekong River while enjoying the<br />
beautiful scenery. Enjoy an aperitif over the sunset.<br />
Dinner and overnight on board.<br />
DAY 2 |<br />
Breakfast on board. The boat set sails to Can Tho<br />
through tributary and canals. Transfer to Cai Rang:<br />
one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong.<br />
Boarding back at noon, with a welcome-back drink.<br />
11:00 Disembark in Can Tho. The cruise concludes.<br />
