NHA TRANG |<br />
Cycling Excursion around Nha Trang (half day)<br />
Cycle west of Nha Trang to Dien Khan District to visit<br />
the DIEN KHANH CITADEL, dating from the 18th century.<br />
Visit an old church en route before continuing to KHAN<br />
VINH VALLEY, riding over a spectacular pass, following<br />
the river and passing through eucalyptus forests. On<br />
the return, visit SUOI TIEN SPRING for a brief rest before<br />
continuing back to the hotel. Total distance cycled is<br />
approximately 30 km.<br />
Nha Trang Countryside (full day) |<br />
Venture into the picturesque countryside, dotted with<br />
palm trees, rice paddies, and fruit orchards. Stop at a<br />
typical village, visiting the kintergarden if it is in session<br />
and enjoying a horsecart ride around the town.<br />
Enter a local home, and learn about local traditions<br />
and customs while enjoying refreshment and fruit<br />
with the family. Embark on a riverboat for the journey<br />
back to Nha Trang, passing fishing boats, shipyards,<br />
and pottery and mat-weaving workshops.<br />
This Marine Protected Area belonged to Nha Trang Bay,<br />
which is recognised as one of the most beautiful bays<br />
in the World. Have a rest and enjoy assorted tropical<br />
fruit, coffee, tea, water. Continue the second dive for<br />
another 45 minutes to see the richest coral biodiversity<br />
identified in Vietnam with over 350 species of corals &<br />
many kinds of big and beautiful fish. Enjoy a buffet<br />
lunch before returning to Hotel in Nha Trang.<br />
PHAN THIET |<br />
Phan Thiet Explorer Tour (full day) |<br />
Get to know Phan Thiet with all its facets. Visit the<br />
Cham Towers, enjoy a boat ride on Phu Hai river, take<br />
tea in an old wooden house and visit a small rice noodle<br />
factory and a fish sauce factory. Lunch is taken at a local<br />
family’s house, you can ride a cyclo, visit Duc Thanh<br />
School where Ho Chi Minh used to teach and see the<br />
Van Thuy Tu pagoda with the skeleton of a whale on<br />
display. Visit Landing Zone Betty – the America army<br />
base during the war and the stunning Valley of Love.<br />

Lung Khau Nhin market (Thursday only) |<br />
This market is one of the smallest local markets in<br />
the area, and is located in a beautiful landscape.<br />
Here you will have the opportunity to browse the<br />
products that are on offer and to meet Flower Hmong<br />
and Black Zao minorities.<br />
Excursion to Mong Sen and Ta Phin with trek<br />
(full day) |<br />
<strong>Travel</strong> by vehicle downhill to Mong Sen, ascending<br />
on a dirt trail through a mountainous area. En<br />
route, enjoy spectacular views over rice paddy<br />
terraces and cornfields.<br />
After lunch, the trek will continue downhill toward<br />
Ta Phin. Meet the local ethnic Red Dao and Black Hmong<br />
minorities, two of the largest ethnic groups in Sapa.<br />
Return to Sapa by vehicle in the afternoon.<br />
Island Discovery (full day) |<br />
<strong>Travel</strong> by boat to MUN ISLAND. Enjoy swimming or<br />
snorkelling. Stop for lunch at CON SE TRE. <strong>Travel</strong><br />
by boat to SEAWATER AQUARIUM. Mieu Island has an<br />
important fish-breeding farm where over forty species<br />
of fish, crustaceans and other marine life are raised<br />
in three separate compartments. Visit a local fishing<br />
village. Return to Nha Trang in the late afternoon.<br />
Sand Dunes of Mui Ne (half day) |<br />
MUI NE is famous for its dramatic, ever-shifting sand<br />
dunes. Drive to LOTUS LAKE and the WHITE SAND<br />
DUNES, stopping to explore the dunes and, if desired,<br />
to try some sand-sledding. Continue to the RED SAND<br />
DUNES, where you can soak in the scenery and stroll<br />
along the FAIRY STREAM that wind through the dunes<br />
to the sea.<br />
Snorkelling Tour (full day) |<br />
Depart from Nha Trang pier to TAM ISLAND and stop<br />
to snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Continue to<br />
MUN ISLAND (EBONY ISLAND), which has perhaps the<br />
best preserved coral reefs in the area, teaming with<br />
marine life. Spend most of the morning here before<br />
continuing to CON SE TRE for lunch and relaxing on<br />
the beach.<br />
Scuba Diving (half day) |<br />
Transfer from Hotel to Nha Trang pier for scuba<br />
diving in the crystal clear waters. Start first dive for<br />
45 minutes at MUN ISLAND (EBONY ISLAND), which has<br />
perhaps the best preserved coral reefs in the area,<br />
teaming with marine life.<br />
Ta Cu Mountain (half day) |<br />
<strong>Travel</strong> south of Phan Thiet to the verdant TA CU<br />
MOUNTAIN, enjoying a CABLE CAR RIDE up to LINH SON<br />
TRONG PAGODA. This is the site of the largest RECLIN-<br />
ING BUDDHA in Vietnam, which gleams white against<br />
the surrounding greenery.<br />
SA PA |<br />
Muong Hum market (Sundays only) |<br />
Take a day excursion to Muong Hum market, which is<br />
located 3 hours drive from Lao Cai station. This is the<br />
most typical and colourful market in the area offering<br />
the opportunity to meet a large variety of ethnic minorities,<br />
who come and sell their homemade products<br />
such as vegetables and fruits as well as animal.<br />
