Make the Most Out of Your Riverbed Steelhead ® Deployment<br />
Riverbed offers training courses designed to cover all aspects of Steelhead ® appliance<br />
administration and deployment. Our training courses lead students through a series of<br />
discussions and hands-on exercises that cover implementation planning, configuration, and<br />
testing of Steelhead ® appliances in a variety of network environments.<br />
Course Benefits<br />
• Real-World Network Examples − Courses apply real-world knowledge, drawing on<br />
areas of expertise that include network design and integration, security, network<br />
deployment troubleshooting, network optimization and network infrastructure<br />
management.<br />
• Hands-On Lab Exercises − WAN simulation equipment and application servers mimic<br />
environments found in customer networks to provide real-world troubleshooting and<br />
administration experience.<br />
• Instruction by Industry Experts − Courses are designed and presented by Riverbed’s<br />
field-experienced Professional Services trainers. Our experienced team offers vast, realworld<br />
knowledge in deploying networking products in multiple scenarios. In addition to the<br />

Course Content<br />
In general, courses are targeted toward those individuals who will be involved in the design,<br />
deployment, or administration/operation of Steelhead ® appliances. Class sizes are limited to<br />
ensure individualized instruction and optimal interaction. Riverbed recommends that that all<br />
attendees have at least some basic networking knowledge.<br />

Regularly Scheduled and Custom Training<br />
In addition to scheduled courses, Riverbed provides convenient, cost-effective, on-location<br />
and/or customized training courses worldwide.<br />
On-site training can either use our mobile classroom or the Riverbed remote lab environment<br />
(eLab). Classroom training generally takes place in locations where we have a set of<br />
Steelhead ® appliances, servers, and network emulation equipment, allowing your staff to<br />
learn the ins and outs of operating a Steelhead ® enabled network.<br />
