Swarovski introduced their ornate ground crystal elements 

for use by designers and manufacturers of chandeliers and 

lighting fixtures in 1965. 

In 2011, Swarovski formally established Swarovski Lighting, 

Ltd., which includes two distinct premium consumer lighting 

brands; Swarovski, with its contemporary aesthetic, and 

Schonbek, with its classic designs. 

Together, Swarovski and Schonbek have been granted over 

200 design patents and share more than 250 years of crystal 

and lighting history.

Swarovski StarLED lighting and six customized ring-style crystal pendants reflect beautiful crystal light effects around the 

modern ballroom of the award-winning Conrad Chicago hotel. 


Crystal is the central architectural theme of Sparkling Hill. Many Swarovski lighting designs lend a subtle ambience to the 

mediation area, complemented by approximately two million loose Swarovski crystals shining in various spaces throughout
