The replaceable, weight and pressure dependent SECURA VARIO®
heel shock absorption system ensures cushioning adapted to the
individual needs of the wearer. The pressure load in the shoe is reduced
to a natural extent and provides targeted relief to the back.
At the same time, the weight dependent SECURA VARIO® heel
shock absorption system helps to significantly reduce fatigue and
increases the ability to compensate pressure loads by the leg and
trunk musculature.

support of the longitudinal arch.
The anatomically shaped foam insert supports
attenuation over the entire walking area and relieves
sensitive pain and pressure points. The insole is
suitable for ESD shoes.

Once you put on your shoes, the natural movement of your feet
changes. Research has also found that the less the shoe impacts
the natural movement of the foot, the lower the incidence of foot
disorders. Lever arms in particular may cause diverse movement
disorders. Lever arms of the shoe force the foot to make unnatural
movements and can lead to foot and Achilles tendon complaints,
knee pain and back problems. Furthermore, lever arm forces can
increase the risk of injuries such as sprained ankles.

FITTING OPTIONS
»NO FOOT IS AS LONG OR WIDE
AS THE OTHER«
Reducing the foot size to a length dimension (shoe size) does not
do justice to reality. In conventional shoes, wearers with narrow or
wide feet have to make compromises. If the shoes are too wide,
they will not fit securely. If the shoes are too large, the risk of tripping
or falling increases. If the shoes are too tight, the pressures are intensified
and the risk of developing forefoot disorders increases.
Therefore, we manufacture the majority of our models in 4 different
widths per shoe size – for optimal fit in length and width and noticeably
greater comfort.
THERMO REALIZER
The selection of the right foot bed insole should be as specific as
the individual foot of the shoe wearer. The THERMO REALIZER is an
innovative way to provide individual foot bed advice.
Instructions:
The person stands for five seconds (in socks) on the Thermo Realizer.
The body heat generated creates a print showing the stressed
zones of the foot. This footprint is compared with the sketches shown
next to it, showing you directly which insole is required.

MOULD MEASURING SYSTEM
RELIABLE SIZE AND WIDTH CALCULATION
IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE
The proven, unique mould measuring system is a quick,
easy and, most importantly, reliable method to select
the correct size in terms of length and width.
The 3-dimensional surface that reproduces the exact
form of the inside of our shoes allows you to simulate a
shoe fitting. Instead of a simple metric feet measurement,
the mould measurement system also takes into
account the subjective feeling of the shoe wearer.
Moulds with a variety of widths per shoe length recreate
the volume of different shoes. The wearer can
experience the same conditions as in the
original shoe. Fitting time and risk of exchanges are reduced
significantly compared to a conventional shoe
fitting services.

The German Campaign for Healthier Backs e. V. has distinguished
the SECURA VARIO® system and the VARIO Vitality® multi zone shock
absorption system as being particularly gentle to the back.
The Campaign for Healthier Backs e.V. bundles and disseminates
knowledge about the prevention of back pain from a variety of
medical fields and works closely with health insurance companies
and the most important professional organizations, for example, the
German Federation of Back Schools or the German Forum Healthy
Back - Better Living („Gesunder Rücken – besser leben“).
An important element in the prevention and treatment of back pain
is the use of back-friendly everyday products. The criteria for these
products are being developed by the Campaign for Healthier Backs
e. V. in collaboration with physicians and professional organizations.
Safety shoes with the SECURA VARIO® system and VARIO Vitality®
multi-zone shock absorption are the only footwear that meet these
demanding requirements. They have been awarded the seal of
approval of the Campaign for Healthier Backs for being
exceptionally gentle to the back.
