OFFERING . . . MAJOR IN <strong>HOSPITALITY</strong> AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT:<br />
in Boca Raton Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Barry Kaye College of Business, Hospitality and<br />
Tourism Management program prepares students for management positions in<br />
many sectors of the hospitality industry including: hotels/resorts, restaurants,<br />
meeting and event planning agencies, casinos, cruise lines, theme parks,<br />
convention centers and arenas, travel agencies, destination marketing<br />
organizations, car rental agencies, theme parks, and vacation ownership or<br />
fractional ownership venues. Specific career paths may include: revenue<br />
management, sales and marketing, human resources, accounting, or general<br />
operations. Students receive a solid education in core business practices from<br />
the only American Association of Colleges and Schools in Business (AACSB)certified<br />
hospitality program in South Florida. The program’s curriculum also<br />
requires significant practical, “hands on” work experience which fully prepares<br />
graduates for the job market.<br />
