Please find in this publication all the information you will require for your planned trip the Dominican<br />
Republic with us. We have planned your trip to be both relaxing and cultural for you to get the most out of your<br />
stay.<br />
The accommodation is Vamos a Las Palmas Residiences, a Villa resort with the beach only 50m away. There is an<br />
abundance of Restaurants and shops all within walking distance. We have developed a unique authentic experience<br />
for you to enjoy, which will see us utilizing the whole town of Las Terrenas for your stay. From daily workshops in<br />
the local dance schools, bars and clubs to beach parties, club nights in the local clubs and of course not forgetting<br />
the Car Wash!<br />

BAGGAGE<br />
What you are entitled to is as follows<br />
·20kg x 1 HOLD baggage o 5kg x 1 Cabin baggage<br />
·Each passenger can take 1 item of hand luggage<br />
·This item can't be bigger than 50x40x20cm, including<br />
wheels and handles<br />
IN FLIGHT MEALS<br />
If you have any special dietary requirements, please inform the cabin crew<br />
once onboard
MEALS<br />
If you have any special dietary requirements during your stay please inform<br />
as soon as possible so we can order the necessary meals in the restaurants.<br />
As the Resort is self catering, we will be eating Breakfast every morning in<br />
Alegio a Condo complex next door. Evening meals will be in local restaurants.<br />
TRANSFERS<br />
Transfers are included in the price of the holiday for both to and from the resort<br />
(From Punta Cana Only on the 17th and 28th of May).<br />
CHANGING MONEY<br />
Even though the Dominican Republic use both American Dollars and Dominican<br />
Peso. It is advisable to change your money to Dominican Peso's as the local<br />
population prefers to use Peso's. You can use dollars, but you will be charged<br />
at the local rate
IMPORT/EXPORT TAXES<br />
The Dominican Republic authorities charge import and export taxes for all<br />
international travellers travelling on tourist cards. The standard rate is $10<br />
import and $20 Export. <br />
We will be including the cost of the Import taxes within the price of your<br />
holiday Please make sure you have $20 to pay locally at the airport when we<br />

leave on the 28 of May.<br />
TOWELS<br />
Towels are included in the Resort, but not Beach Towels.<br />
VACCINATIONS<br />
It is advised to consult your Doctor or local Pharmacy for any vaccinations<br />
that are needed for travelling to the Dominican Republic. We look forward to<br />

meeting you personally at Gatwick Airport on the 17 of May for what promises<br />
to be an amazing holiday.
Please make your way to the Thomson Baggage drop off point situated in the<br />
NORTH Terminal on level 2. A member of the team will be there to meet you.<br />
Please be at the airport no later than 08:40.<br />
