Makoko can be seen as a slum neighborhood<br />
located in the heart of Lagos; the community<br />
is known for fishing, eventually developed into<br />
a slum as a result of population explosion. The<br />
destruction of this historic community was in<br />
order to redevelop what is now seen as prime<br />
waterfront.<br />
Graduated in 1999 , from Yaba College of<br />
Technology. He majored in Painting. Taiwo<br />
George-Taylor is from Lagos State and full<br />
time studio artist.<br />
