Hello, Fellas! When ADV motorcycles are<br />
mentioned, the first thing that crosses<br />
your mind is adventure traveling. Now, if<br />
you are an Egyptian (or interested in the<br />
Egyptian motorcyclist community), then<br />
we are pretty sure that you’ve come<br />
across the Around Egypt on <strong>Motorcycle</strong><br />
initiative.<br />
In this article, we will introduce you to this<br />
initiative in depth and talk briefly about its<br />
founder. So, let’s take a closer look to<br />
figure out what’s behind the buzz.<br />
Around Egypt on<br />
<strong>Motorcycle</strong>; How it All<br />
Started?<br />
It all started back in 2013 when a<br />
world record holder (Ali Abdo)<br />
decided to start up an initiative that<br />
serves his passion. Around Egypt on<br />
<strong>Motorcycle</strong> has grabbed the<br />
spotlights both nationally and<br />
internationally, due to its objectives<br />
and nature that fired up the dimmed<br />
passion for adventure traveling.<br />
The initiative was covered by<br />
multiple well-established publishing<br />
houses, and several documentaries<br />
were filmed by prestigious media<br />
entities to cover Around Egypt on<br />
<strong>Motorcycle</strong>. Also, it’s strongly<br />
supported nationally by the Egyptian<br />
government due to its significance.<br />

THE INITIATIVE’S GOALS<br />
& OBJECTIVES.<br />
In a nutshell, the main aim of Around Egypt on <strong>Motorcycle</strong> is to display the Egyptian beauty by<br />
discovering its hidden gems through adventure motorcycle traveling. This goal serves the tourism<br />
sector in a remarkable way; you would really love to visit some of the destinations that this initiative<br />
recommends.<br />
Moreover, the initiative is looking forward to spreading the motorcycling culture in Egypt and<br />
increasing the awareness of existing Egyptian motorcyclists about certain issues (regarding safety<br />
and riding tips).<br />
So who’s behind this initiative (we bet you’re secretly asking yourself now)? Ali Abdo is the founder<br />
and owner of Around Egypt on <strong>Motorcycle</strong> initiative. He is a 33-year-old software engineer that is<br />
currently hired by IBM. However, when he is not on duty, he puts on his cape and rush to rescue the<br />
Egyptians from their routine, by getting involved in unforgettable adventures.<br />
The World Record Holder,<br />
Ali Abdo.<br />
Ali always had the passion for adventure traveling and he made sure to keep it glowing. He<br />
decided that it was about time to break some international records, and that was the moment<br />
he decided to go for the Greatest <strong>Motorcycle</strong> Ride in 7 days challenge. He successfully<br />
accomplished it and was throned as a world record holder in this field (Genius Book of Records).<br />
When Ali was asked about how he manages his time between work, family, and travel, he simply<br />
answers that each and every person has nearly 21 annual leave request. Add a couple of days<br />
off to weekends or national holidays and you will have what it takes to travel the world. Also,<br />
working from home makes it easier for him to spend some time with his family and work more<br />
on the initiative.<br />

Lawwill, who happens to be an AMA Legend. The movie was nominated for an<br />

Now, that’s definitely one of t best motorcycle movies when it comes to classics. This movie reflects<br />
the counterculture during the 1960s that the USA has witnessed in a very detailed and artistic way. A<br />
movie that is packed up with adventure as two riders decided to travel from Los Angelos to New<br />
Orleans.<br />
Peter Fonda & Dennis Hopper didn’t only contribute in the movie’s cast; Dennis Hopper was the<br />
director of the movie and has cooperated with Peter Fonda and Terry Southern for writing the script.<br />
The movie was nominated for two Oscars; Best Actor in supporting role for Jack Nicholson (of<br />
course) and Best Writing ,and Story that is based on a material that has never been published before.<br />

homicide force. This motorcycle movie takes the audience on a thrilling adventure and crimesolving<br />
plot that will leave you breathless.<br />
This movie received a Golden Globe nomination for The Best Actor in Motion picture (for<br />
Robert Blake). It’s a really amazing movie that you should add to your classic motorcycle movies<br />
library.<br />

GAME OVER CYCLES: TAKING CUSTOM<br />
MOTORCYCLES TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL.<br />
Custom motorcycles building is a passion, not a lot of motorcyclists will understand. Café<br />
Racers modifying is another thing that only a few bikers are fond of. Now, combine the<br />
previously mentioned categories, and you will get a totally unique niche within the<br />
motorcyclist’s community.<br />
Last October (21st to be more specific), the Game Over Cycles(GOC); a polish custom<br />
motorcycle company produced a masterpiece (no exaggeration over here) that grabbed the<br />
attention of motorcycle enthusiasts from all around the globe.<br />
Krakow Hard Rock Café has Just Received a New Piece of Art to Add to their Collection.<br />
Even though this project was delivered to the Hard Rock Café of Krakow in specific, yet it stole<br />
the spotlights of the international media. So, what’s behind the buzz? What makes it so special<br />
among other custom motorcycles? Hold your breath ladies and gentlemen, and let’s take a<br />
closer look to find out.<br />
A Customized Café Racer: Every Custom <strong>Motorcycle</strong>s Enthusiast<br />
Dream?<br />
The GOC has used a Harley Davidson 883 motorcycle for their project. No serious<br />
modifications were performed “under the hood”. However, the team made sure that this<br />
vintage motorcycle, reflects that rock and roll culture in every possible way.<br />
WHEN MOTORCYCLE & MUSIC WORLDS MERGE.<br />
The GOC has used a Harley Davidson 883 motorcycle for their project. No serious<br />
modifications were performed “under the hood”. However, the team made sure that this<br />
vintage motorcycle, reflects that rock and roll culture in every possible way.<br />

The rear swingarm was modified to become a guitar fret board.<br />
GOC didn’t just stop at this point, they had to make sure that this motorcycle doesn’t just<br />
reflect the rock and roll culture but to reflect the Hard Rock Café culture in particular. The<br />
gearshift is a miniature copy from the café’s turntable’s arm. In addition, the motorcycle’s<br />
wheels have been blacked-out and engraved with track names.<br />

SEGA BIKES & LOUNGE; A NEW DESTINATION<br />
FOR ALEXANDRIAN MOTORCYCLISTS.<br />
So we heard about the opening of this new place in Alexandria that made some real buzz during<br />
its soft opening. Well, if all of that fuss was just during their first days, then there’s definitely<br />
something unique about this place. Therefore, our beloved <strong>Two</strong> <strong>Wheelers</strong> team decided to stop<br />
by at SEGA Bikes & Lounge to take a closer look.<br />
Well, we have to admit that we spent a couple of mins searching for a parking spot once we<br />
arrived (but if you are reading this article, the most probably you are a <strong>Two</strong> Wheeler and you<br />
won’t experience any trouble with parking your babe).<br />
The very first impression you get is “ Blah! Here’s another motorcycle repair shop that is<br />
looking forward to making a couple of bucks from the Alexandrian motorcyclists’ community!”<br />
but that’s not the case.<br />
The moment you place a foot into the place you will get alerted by the outstanding coffee smell<br />
accompanied by multiple “eargasms” that you will experience with their soft Jazz music. Each<br />
and every corner in this place is stuffed with motorcycle related stuff; they have a motorcycle<br />
showroom (for motorcycles and scooters), motorcycle accessories section and another one for<br />
riding apparel.<br />
Their motorcycle repair shop is in a totally separate place for your convenience (finally, you can<br />
grab your cup of coffee away from oil and grease spills).<br />
So, our team decided to have a chit-chat with the owners and the stuff about this place and<br />
here’s what we came out with.<br />
SEGA Bikes & Lounge; How<br />
it all started.<br />
This place is owned b three awesome fellas; Mohamed El Segaay (the SEGA guy), Ahmed El<br />
Bazz and Yasser El Banna. Mohamed El Segaay has been in the <strong>Two</strong> <strong>Wheelers</strong> field 2013. He<br />
started as an accountant in a motorcycle shop and ended as a store manager. He is a<br />
motorcyclist himself and he has a never ending love for those machines.<br />
As for Yasser El Banna, he has been working in the business consultancy field for over 15<br />
years with international entities. He has a passion for motorcycles, good coffee and a Jazz<br />
music for sure.<br />
If you guys think that we will be talking now about Ahmed El Bazz, then we’re sorry to<br />
disappoint you. You see, we love to create a mysterious atmosphere. If you would like to<br />
know more about him, then move your butts and go get introduced.<br />

Inspiration?<br />
Well, obviously it was for the love of motorcycles, good coffee, and Jazz music –enough said-<br />
However, we would love to add that the owners added that the main purpose of this place is<br />
to become the destination and focal point for all the motorcyclists gathering and they aim to<br />
build a community and network rather than becoming a commercial center.<br />
What do they offer?<br />
This place has technically all that a biker needs; a motorcycle showroom where you can pick<br />
your new ride (or just watch and fantasize about it while watching their collection), a<br />
motorcycle repair shop for maintenance and a great coffee place. They also offer a relatively<br />
fair collection of motorcycle accessories and riding apparel.<br />
The owners have also announced that they have partnered with SYM and KYMCO (scooter<br />
brands) as well as the famous Liqui Moly (Engine oil and additives).<br />
Menu Specialties?<br />
Personally, we have tried their espresso and it was really good. However, if you are planning<br />
to pay them a visit, they are known for their Greek Coffee, Mohitos Cocktail, and Turkish<br />
Coffee.<br />
