SNAP-
FRAUD
Nowadays, social networks take part in our daily
routine, we almost can’t live without them.
In order to keep the users entertained and interested
in the app, content creators try to introduce new ways
of interaction, but recently the have been copying that
idea from Snapchat.
One of the greatest companies on the web is Facebook, with 1.508 million registered
users around the world. However the “stories’ app” increased in popularity being a
threat to it. As a result they are trying to imitate it in every software they have bought.
Most of the main consumers are exasperated consequently to these updates in their
favourite apps, reaching the point where they find it even tedious. But the main
unknown is: will Snapchat disappear? I don’t think so, but it will probably be bought by
Facebook.
I would like to conclude by saying that I do not agree with the way the networks try to
lure back consumers. But if you like some of those updates, then go and enjoy them,
but don’t forget to be careful with the information you share because it disseminates
faster than you think.

Do not abuse!
The purpose of writing this report is to inform all of you about the consequences
that drugs have in your body and to raise awareness among teenagers when taking
them.
According to a “Monitoring the Future” studio in 2010, OTC and prescription drugs
are among the most commonly abused by High school students. Many teenagers
try drugs like alcohol, tobacco and marijuana for a lot of different reasons but they
do not know the after effects they have.
Alcohol, interferes with your brain communication pathways and it can also
damage your heart, your liver.
Tobacco cigarette are not only tobacco they also have lot of bad substances for
your body that can damage all your body systems.
Our generation is known for abusing of alcohol and tobacco. If you are going to
drink at a party, do not drive. Driving even a little bit drunk increases your chance
of getting in an accident. For drivers, alcohol can:
• make you have blurred and double vision
• reduce your ability to perceive what is happening around you
If you drink or take drugs at a party, make sure you call your parents, a taxi or ask a
friend that haven't been taking anything to take you home, don't put at risk your life
and others life.
Video? - Games…
In our daily lives “video-game” is a
word likely to be used more often
than “outside”. Our generation is the
first one to have the opportunity of
growing with these magic boxes which
can keep us from getting bored for
hours, but have they kept us apart
from our real world?
In my opinion video games tend to
be more realistic but we need to
learn how to use them properly so we
won´t let them consume us and get
emotional crisis whenever the power
goes out.
The first video game was invented in
the early 1950ś, it was not until the
arcade games were released in the
1970ś that they became a trend.
Since then, this revolutionary world
has grown among the young and the
not so young, so is the fact that now
we can use virtual reality.
We have grown up hearing the
anecdotes of our parents going
outside to play all day until dark, and
when they remember their first video
game a childish glow appears on their
face, and they still complain about us
spending hours in front of a console
despite the fact that most parents
don´t allow children to be outside
alone.
THE SILENCE OF A SECRET
It was a cold night, I could hear the raindrops in the distance. My grandmother had
fallen asleep and the TV was on, there was nothing interesting to see. I decided to
go and get a book.
In a desk I found a very old book, when I opened it I discovered that it was a blank
book; I began to leaf it through quickly trying to find something written inside it.
Nothing, there was nothing; when I wanted to put it back, I found a letter, it looked
very old. I knew I shouldn´t open it, but I did.
I started reading. "I love the way you look at me every time I pass in front your
house, how I wish you never stop looking at me like that. I love the way you bite
your lower lip when you feel nervous, it drives me crazy. I love your small and
delicate hands. I love ... "It was written in 1890, my grandparents were already
married and the letter did not come from my grandfather. There was a secret.
DANY'S
ADVICE
COLUMN
Dear Dany
I am writing to you because I have problems with my
parents about my career election which is painting, but
they aren´t convinced and they want me to study
something else.
In order to learn new things, I went to painting lessons,
since the first class I realized what I wanted to be, I
have been searching for schools
The thing is they refuse to pay me the career, and that is
terrible because all the schools I want are in italy and I
could never afford them. They tell me that there is no
future in painting and that I should be a lawyer like my
father or an engineer like my mother, but I have no
interest in that type of careers.
I hope you can advise me, and I look forward to hearing
from you soon.
Yours sincererly
Sandra Hevia
Dear Dany
I am writing to you to ask for advice on what
to do with the boy I like.
I met him in a soccer cup. He began speaking
to me as if we had known each other for some
time. I get into him but I didn´t know what
would happen when we returned to school.
He was a minor year so we did not share
classes and I just saw him in the hallways
and recess. Every time we met he talked to me
about whatever and I used to get excited about
it.
My friends started to bother me about him
and finally, I dared to ask him about what we
were. I wish I had never done it because in that
moment he told me that he had a girlfriend
and that he regretted that I had misinterpreted
everything, but that he really wanted to be
my friend.
I told him to give me time, but I miss talking
to him even if it's only in as friends.
What would you do if you were in my place?
Please answer me soon.
Dear Dany
I need urgently your advice, I don´t know what to do. Here is the situation: My brother recently thinks he is Muslim or something
similar, the other night he started making noises like “Dip Dip Duli Du”, yeah, really weird. I think he is going nuts or maybe he is
fan of Drake & Josh series.
Although we come from a very long dynasty of Lebanese culture, our family has always been Catholic and we are not happy with his
decision of simultaneously becoming a weird type of occidental Muslim. Maybe we should punish him like our ancestors did generations
before so he can stop going on with this? Or cut off electricity and pray for him so he can´t reach the truth that reveals he is adopted? Or
maybe just lock him in a monastery so he can find the true path of life?
I would really appreciate if you answer my letter as soon as possible. I´ve heard you´re good for giving advice with this type of things.
Yours sincerely
Mohammed’s family
