The Future
Bunzl CHS is not stopping.
As mentioned earlier, we are continually
looking at innovative ways to reduce our
impact on the environment.
We are currently working on two key
environmental projects:
Lighting – We are currently switching a
significant amount of our lighting from high
wattage lights to low wattage LED lights. This
could see a reduction in our consumption of
electricity for lighting by over 60%.
Waste – We are committed to reducing
our waste to landfill and feel that we
can do more in this area.
We not only review what we
do in terms of waste and
recycling at each of our
business locations, but
also actively challenge
our supply chain to
reduce their packaging
and waste.
