Jack Daniel’s & K. Michelle Team Up for New Southern Peach Flavor<br />
What do Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails and K.<br />
Michelle have in common? <strong>The</strong>ir Tennessee<br />
roots, southern values, and now a new malt<br />
beverage flavor.<br />
K. Michelle teamed up with Jack Daniel’s to<br />
create the newest Country Cocktails flavor —<br />
Southern Peach.<br />
“Jack Daniel’s is a brand with rich history. Also<br />
being from Tennessee, I’ve always appreciated<br />
how JD falls in line with my southern values,”<br />
said K. Michelle in a press release. “This<br />
collaboration with Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails is a celebration of all those values, and I’m<br />
excited to share that with my fans.”<br />
<strong>The</strong> chart-topping R&B singer collaborated with the liquor brand to craft Southern Peach from<br />
beginning to end. She was even the driving force behind the custom gold crown cap, which is<br />
exclusive to the Southern Peach flavor.<br />

has become first African American to ever<br />
be endorsed by the Kentucky-based Jack<br />
Daniels liquor brand.<br />
“I’ve always been a huge Jack Daniel’s<br />
fan – especially Tennessee Honey which<br />
reflects my Southern roots. I’m excited to<br />
work with a brand I’ve personally enjoyed<br />
for years.”<br />
“Our partnership with K. Michelle is a<br />
natural fit, she’s a Tennessee native and<br />
has always been a huge fan and<br />
supporter of the brand,” says Casey<br />
Nelson, Senior Brand Manager, Jack<br />
Daniel’s Flavor Portfolio. “Jack Daniel’s<br />
has history with some of the greatest<br />
names in music and she is joining a very<br />
distinguished group. We’re excited to<br />
welcome her to the family.”<br />
Jack Daniel’s will roll out Southern Peach in<br />
the Southeast — Alabama, Florida, Georgia,<br />
Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee<br />
— beginning in April. <strong>The</strong> flavor will be<br />
available for purchase nationally early in the summer just in time for BBQ and cookouts.<br />
Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails premium malt beverages are also available in Jack Apple, Black<br />
Jack Cola, Cherry Limeade, Berry Punch, Downhome Punch, Lynchburg Lemonade, and<br />
Watermelon Punch.
Suge Knight Finally Reveals Who Killed Tupac Shakur<br />
When the West Coast’s prized rap possession Tupac Shakur was murdered in September<br />
1996 riding passenger-side<br />
with the leader of Death Row<br />
Records, Suge Knight, the<br />
world bore witness to one of<br />
hip-hop’s most painful losses<br />
to date.<br />
But after 21 years of arguable<br />
statements, conspiracies,<br />
documentaries, debates and<br />
finger-pointing, Knight has<br />
now stepped forth to<br />
disclose the two individuals<br />
responsible for the fateful<br />
evening of September 7,<br />
1996.<br />
Several sources have<br />
reported that in an officially<br />
signed affidavit, Thaddeus Culpepper, Knight’s attorney, wrote that the label CEO has<br />
“known for many years that Reggie Wright Jr. and his ex-wife Sharitha were behind the<br />
murder of Tupac and attempted murder of Knight.” Wright Jr., the then-head of security for<br />
Death Row, had previously been linked to Pac’s death by a former LAPD detective Russell<br />
Poole, along with Knight’s ex-wife. However, Knight was the intended target of the<br />
shooting, as Poole believes the two conspired to murder him to gain control of Death Row<br />
Records. Knight seconds these claims, as the “salient points” of the new Tupac<br />
Assassinaton: Battle for Compton documentary was what reportedly convicted him to<br />
disclose such classified information.<br />
Knight, who has been incarcerated<br />
since January 2015 on murder and<br />
attempted murder charges for a<br />
separate incident, has also long been<br />
suspected and accused of Pac’s death<br />
due to inconsistent testimonies, one of<br />
which he suggested Pac faked his own<br />
death. <strong>The</strong> affidavit also claims that he<br />
has knowledge of those involved with<br />
the murder of Tupac’s mostspotlighted<br />
East Coast rival, Notorious<br />
B.I.G, as well.<br />
If there’s truth to Knight’s claims, hopefully his latest reveal will move everyone closer to<br />
solving the cold case of the legendary rap prophet’s death once and for all.
