The annual Chinese Film Festival 2017 is dated to start this<br />
week in the Capital of China. The film fest which is orchestrated by World<br />
Cultural Net plans to see the screening eight movies over the course<br />
of a week, in total. When asked to throw some light on the matter<br />
about the fest, coordinator of the fest, Rajendra Rimal said, “We have<br />
been organizing this film fest since 2000, with the sole motive of<br />
improving the bond and cultural relationship between Nepal and<br />
China. We share a lot of history with China in terms of trade and<br />
politics but with the course of time, cultural exchanges were never<br />
really motivated. So, the basic goal of the fest is to encourage the bilateral<br />
cultural exchange and to let people get familiar with the Chinese society.”<br />
The fest will see the screening of movies such as Hua Mulan, American<br />
Dream In China, City Monkey, and The Message among others. The fest will<br />
be commenced amidst a ceremony to be held at Russian Cultural Centre on<br />
April 7 and after that, the movie Hua Mulan will be played on the screen.
