#1 Bought an outfit without trying, because who's going to wait in line?<br />
How many times have you strut confidently into a store and bought a blouse that's not quite your<br />
size because you were too lazy to wait in the trial room line? Also, if it's a little snug, you'll find<br />
some way to make it work (NOT!) You get home, it doesn't fit, the arm hole's too small, the chest is<br />
too tight, or it's just not sitting right. What do you do? Bury it in the back of your closet. What you<br />
don't see doesn't exist, right?<br />
#2 Thought being experimental would make you stand out in a good way—boy,<br />
were you wrong.<br />
Took a leap of faith and plummeted, free-fall. We could've just taken a nosedive into a bed of<br />
rocks, would've hurt less. Permed hair, slogan tees, fringed mini skirts, pink hot pants, blue nails,<br />
stick-on earrings... the list goes on. The good news: Someone probably screwed up more than you<br />
did. Self-five for bravery, though!<br />

Admit it, we still do that. Only, it looks slightly better than our teenage fashion fails. As you grow<br />
older and wiser, you realise it's better to buy one quality expensive thing rather than five from the<br />
discount bin. But it's okay, you were spending daddy's money then. Shopping for fashion on a<br />

disaster! Help! The person looking back at you in the mirror looks hideous. Oh, well, time for that<br />
skirt-blouse you wore to Kristy's party two days ago. Hopefully, no one will notice. Note to older<br />
self: Never underestimate the power of a backup outfit, and... have three backup outfits!<br />
