The Minomess ® family - an innovation with
four modules
The consequent development of the approved apartment water meter facilitates
a modular structure for more flexible retrofit possibilities, of course
also with future-oriented radio measuring - an essential advantage of the
Minomess ® family.
All apartment water meters can be extended by attachable function modules
with the desired characteristics. There, all modules are universally
applicable in every meter of the new type series, flush-mounting, surfacemounted
or retrofit meter. The amplification can take place at any desired
time, even during the running calibration period.

Like this it can be responded to changing requirements of the housing
industry or the apartment users. Is for example at a later time the comfortable
telemetering of the measuring data desired the meter modular
retrofitting is possible without problems and without changing.

Radio module - Minotel ® aqua radio
The Minotel ® aqua radio saves the meter pulse and sends it to the data
collector. With it also the water meter becomes a fully integrated element
of the intelligent Minol radio network. This modern system offers
the greatest possible comfort for the apartment users: The
meter-reader needs not to enter the apartment.
And that is how the Minomess ® works with integrated radio module
Minotel ® aqua radio: Several times daily the Minomess ® radio
sends the consumption values as well as different device parameters
to a data collector which assigns these values reliably and saves them
safely.
Via GSM modems the consumption data of the complete real estate can
be read out from the data collector Minomat ® and are available within
seconds in the Minol data processing centre for the creation of the settlement.

MINOMESS ® MODULES FLUSH-MOUNTING METER

Key date module - Minotel ® aqua date
This module records the consumption daily. To a freely selectable deadline
the current value, the past 18 month values as well as the year and
previous year value are saved. In case of a user change all intermediate
results required for the costs parting can also be read out at a later time
from the memory. The proof of the settled consumption is in the consequence
to the user at any time possible.
By means of the key date module Minotel ® aqua date the accuracy and the
security of the settlement is furthermore increased as all consumption
data are determined on the same day. Differences due to different readout
points occur thereby no longer. The Minomess ® date is the perfect supplementation
to electronic heat cost allocators and heat meters of Minol
which as well enable the settlement exactly on the deadline.

Contact module - Minotel ® aqua pulse
The contact module Minotel ® aqua pulse scans the counter pulses
of the basic device by means of a relay contact and transmits them
via an impulse cable. That is how Minomess ® water meters can easily
be integrated in installations with central building control systems and
are applied in big residential and object buildings. Exact to litres!
M-Bus module - Minotel ® aqua m-bus
A further innovation in the Minol product programme is the
M-Bus module Minotel ® aqua m-bus. It facilitates simply the
optimal integration of Minomess ® water meters in M-Bus networks:
plug in the module into the meter and apply the bus line
in the network router. A fully automated, electronic readout of
the consumption data can so easily be realised.

Flush-mounting meter Minomess ® MB3
The service kindness is the great plus of the Minomess ® MB3:
Without problems and without any special tools the measuring
element can be inserted into the in-wall element, fixed, loosened and
replaced. That shortens the assembly time and saves costs!
Selected materials make the Minomess ® MB3 to a permanently reliable
measuring device for the safe consumption settlement.
The installation of the meter is possible in horizontal as well as in vertical
lines. For an optimal readout position the meter head with the 8 digits roll
counter is turnable by 360°.
As all Minol water meters the measuring capsule is protected against
magnetic influences from outside.

Minomess ® replacement meter programme
With the extensive replacement meter programme Minol offers customised
solutions for all water meter adapter fittings current on the market.
Minomess ® MB 2:
For the stable in-wall elements still installed today the measuring capsule
Minomess ® MB2 is also further on available as replacement meter. This
meter stands for long-life cycle and reliability and offers - as all Minol meters
- almost unlimited expandability.
Minolist ® ER 1:
The Minolist ® ER1 is a measuring capsule which fits in the single-pipe connectors
(EAS) with 2” thread. The current connection dimension facilitates
the application in in-wall EAS as well as in on-wall fittings.
Minolas ® :
The Minolas ® is a customised single-jet meter for the application in Allmess
in-wall elements.
Minomet ® :
For the professional equipment of Metrona in-wall elements of type 307/3
the multi-jet measuring capsule Minomet ® is available.

In-wall element
The compact brass in-wall element for the meter unit MB3 is available in all
current connection variants. It is suitable for the installation in horizontal
and vertical lines and is delivered for the optimal heat and sound insulation
with plastering shells made of Styrofoam.
Due to the special shaping the meter can be loosened when replacing
it already by unhinging the closure ring from the in-wall
element. A separate extraction device is not required for that
and a simple and fast meter replacement is guaranteed.

Miniblock ® Mini - small, nice, powerful
The Miniblock ® Mini is currently the smallest water
meter block! The assembly block consists of two connection
pieces. These are each made of one part and
combine optimally the in-wall element for the reception
of the Minomess ® MB3 with an integrated piston valve
for the water barrier. The advantages of the Miniblock ®
Mini are obvious:

Minomess ® universal meter M22
The universal meter is thanks to its compensation fittings suitable
in connection with the possible nominal sizes Qn 1.5 and
Qn 2.5 for wide application situations. Its advantages appear above
all when replacing the meters. With the different compensation fittings
the right configuration can be selected on site corresponding to the
installation situation.
The adapter fitting with integrated O-ring seals facilitate an individual installation
length adjustment from 110 to 165 mm at ¾ “ threads and 105 to
190 mm at 1 “ threads.

Minomess ® valve meter MC
The Minomess ® valve meter MC was especially developed for the subsequent
installation in existing in-wall stop valves ½”, ¾”, 1” and 5 /4 ”. The
modern, functional design fits in harmonically in bath, toilet or kitchen.
This meter solution features due to its technical conception by a very high
reliability.
The installation is very easy: After the disassembly of the valve top the
new valve meter is screwed into the existing valve casing. Walls and
tiles are not damaged
Also deeper lying stop valves are no problem: The connection of the
meter can be extended by up to three times 22 mm.
By means of the integrated valve the water supply of the individual
apartments can also be turned off after the assembly.
After the expiry of the calibration validity only the measuring capsule
of the meter must be replaced with a few steps

Minocontrol ® MC -
Modern substitution for old technique
The Minocontrol ® MC is the optimal substitution for the hot water cost
allocators which are not allowed any longer: easy and inexpensive in the
assembly, safe in application.
The installation is carried out fast and cleanly by our service personnel
without modification of the pipe installation, without damages of tiles. The
existing Venturi T-piece is prepared with a special tool. The chromed Minocontrol
® connection is assembled on it with the calibrated volume measuring
unit. After the expiry of the calibration validity the volume measuring
unit can fast and easily be replaced.
The Minocontrol ® MC is a single-jet impeller meter with high accuracy of
measurement which has proved of value in million times of application.

Minomess ® bath tub meter
The Minomess ® bath tub meter can be assembled without problems between
the S connection and the tap. In case of unilateral meter installation
the fitting is compensated with a special intermediate piece. The approved
volume measuring element can easily be replaced after the expiry of the
calibration validity.

Minomess ® washstand water meter
The Minomess ® washstand water meter is assembled
on the existing angle valves. For the line connection two
versions are available: Design A with a flexible metallic
hose and design B with a manifold and crimp screw connection
to the connection on the existing copper lines Ø
10 mm.
Minomess ® tap water meter
The Minomess ® tap water meter can be attached with a special
connection to all current outlet valves. The screw connection of
the meter with a seal protects against manipulations.
