April Week 3
Grade 3: Living Things Breathe!!
Students detected variation in
Carbon dioxide level using Sensor
after different physical activities.
They understood living things
breathe in and out. Also, they
observed variation in Carbon dioxide
level by comparing 4 digit number
and arranged all activities in a
sequence arranging the values in
descending order.
Grade 4: Stick to Your Roots
Students designed trundle wheel to
measure circumference of the bark
of a tree using DBH (diameters at
breast height) and calculate the
approximate age of the tree.
Grade 5: Soil & Water Erosion
Students investigated how
different factors in the nature
causing soil erosion and what can
we do to stop it. They did
hands-on experiment which gave
them a clear idea on how plants
help in keeping the soil fixed by
holding it together using their
roots.
