Grade 8: Centrifugation<br />
Students constructed a<br />
centrifugal apparatus using<br />
Simple and Powered Machine for<br />
separation of substances<br />
dissolved in water. The<br />
students explored different<br />
gearing mechanism for<br />
increasing the speed for<br />
centrifugation.
