sugar dropped steeply by 6 lakh tons-ISMA<br />
Due to the lower production of sugarcane in<br />
the country sugar production has droppedown.<br />
In the session of 2016-17, there are only 108. 80<br />
lakh tons of sugar produced in the country,<br />
which is 5.92 lakhs less than the production<br />
of the previos season.<br />

According to Indian sugarmills association, Maharashtra<br />
