Formed in 2000, Strategic Team Group is a well-established
regional building and property services
company. The Group provides a comprehensive
range of construction services to support every
stage of the building and property lifecycle, from
design and build, refurbishment and regeneration
to minor works and long-term maintenance contracts.
We have developed a unique culture of teamwork
and built a strong reputation for delivering service
excellence. From our offices in West Yorkshire and
Manchester, we provide our services to a growing
list of public and private sector customers. Currently
around 70% of our work is procured through
long-term partnerships, frameworks and by negotiation.
Our focus on collaboration, quality and innovation
has been key to our success. The Group has
grown from a start-up in 2000 to a £60m turnover
business, with a directly-employed and valued
workforce of over 150 and an established supply
chain covering all of our operational areas. We are
committed to adopting best practice in every area
of the business, seeking to add value by working
closely with customers, stakeholders and supply
partners.
Corporate social responsibility is at the heart of our
approach to our works. We invest in training and
developing our team, recognising that people are
our most valuable asset. We prioritise health, safety
and environmental management and consistently
engage with local communities in our project
areas.
We are highly experienced in the affordable housing
market, providing a full range of services from
new build and refurbishment to improvement works
and maintenance. We are committed to providing
long-term social and economic benefits through
our housing sector works, implementing strategies
such as local labour initiatives and the reduction of
fuel poverty through renewable and energy-saving
technology.
By working closely with registered social landlords,
local authorities and supply chain partners, we deliver
cost-effective, sustainable solutions and innovative
procurement initiatives to benefit customers
and stakeholders.
From our offices in Castleford and Stockport, Strategic
Team Group offers an extensive range of integrated
construction and property services. We have a proven
track record in all of our core markets and strive to exceed
customer expectations by consistently achieving
maximum value and sustainability. We develop beneficial
working partnerships with customers, our supply
chain and local communities and we have built a solid
reputation for delivering service excellence.
STG’s transparent, open-book approach allows us to
develop enduring, collaborative partnerships with
customers and supply chain partners, providing
exceptional standards of workmanship on time and
to budget. Corporate social responsibility is also at
the heart of all operations and we seek to add value to
the communities in which we work through our local
labour policy, responsible approach to sourcing and
engagement with schools, colleges and charities.
We are highly experienced at working with a variety of
procurement models: nearly 50% of our work is procured
through strategic partnerships and frameworks.
We also have proven expertise in relation to occupied
sites and constrained brownfield environments. While
our work is concentrated in our core markets of Living
and Learning, we also collaborate with local authorities,
commercial and transport sector clients.
