<strong>This</strong> book is dedicated to Chef. The creator of this book. I appreciate all<br />
that enjoy my work and whatever this is that I do. That is the only <br />
reason why this book is available to the public, because this book was<br />
really created for Chef. A string of experiences for him to relive over and<br />
over. I’m proud to have created this showcase for a few of the mediums<br />
that he enjoys creating in. I got a chance to display his talent in poetry, storytelling,<br />
photography and graphic design all in one 2-D outlet. Something<br />
that he enjoys flipping through. That his mom and grandma enjoy flipping<br />
through.<br />
Thank you for making you for being the muse for this creation, Chef.<br />

Act One<br />

Damn. I can’t remember the last time that I’ve been able to<br />
turn my brain off and just be happy. <strong>This</strong> feels unreal. As if I’ve<br />
been teleported to heaven. But who is this woman and how the<br />
hell did you pull this one off Chef?<br />

She’s incredibly indescribable… I mean, just at look at her! <br />
Vibrant, shoulder length hair. Milky skin. Huggable waist that<br />
suits her curvy hips flawlessly. LAWD! Look at that perfect<br />
smile! And do I hear a Latin accent?! I think that I need to lay<br />
down…<br />
The mystery woman has been giggling since she’s appeared,<br />
but that sound has me mesmerized. She grabs my hand and <br />
motions for me to sit on the grass next to her, and I do just as<br />
she asks. It’s an early summer evening in Florida. The sun will<br />
be setting soon. The ground is dry and warm. All that I can<br />
think about is that I’m just so comfortable and relaxed, that<br />
the blades of grass underneath us is beginning to feel like<br />
clouds. Everything just seems so right in this moment. That<br />
when I decided now was the perfect time to go in for a kiss.<br />
She follows my lead and leans in as well. Just as our lips are<br />
promised to touch, she smoothly evades and giggles,<br />
“Stahhhhp”. “Alright, Alright.” I agree. “But tell me something<br />
first, please.” She’s now grinning from ear to ear, asking with excitement,<br />
“What do you wanna know?” My now heart begins<br />
to beat a bit faster than usual. While snickering, I semijokingly<br />
ask the mystery woman,<br />

WhO aRe yOU?
She hesitates for a second before replying, “Really?” With a<br />
strong interest and curiosity in my bravado now, I respond,<br />
“Yes, really.”<br />
She lets outs a deep, devious snicker, as dark clouds begin<br />
to form in the once pink and blue sky.<br />

SLIT...<br />

I can now feel a deadly amount of anxiety begin to overflow<br />
within my body. Starting from my chest and spreading to<br />
the bottom on my feet. I tried to speak, but I failed. As<br />
waves flowed from my brain to my mouth and vocal chords,<br />
no words would come out. Then what happened became apparent<br />
and I could only think to myself.<br />
How could a woman’s hands move that fast? I didn’t even<br />
see the knife. The mystery woman catches me by the<br />
throat, just as my body began to slump over towards the<br />
small patch of grass separating us, bathing her hand in the<br />
blood rushing from my throat, while she slowly licks her<br />
blade clean. “Look at me my child!” With every word from<br />
this woman you can hear a faint gathering of terrorizing<br />
screams. Her knife wielding hand is now cocked back, showing<br />
me the blade that will ultimately be the end of me.<br />
Every millimeter of her eyeballs began to glow bright red.<br />
