INSPIRATION<br />
We live in different cities (even different<br />
countries!) and so we chose Toronto because we<br />
wanted a big vibrant city that would be accessible<br />
for all of our guests, and we thought near<br />
the CN Tower was the perfect backdrop. We<br />
wanted a fresh colour palette and so we tried to<br />
stick with fuchsia, mint green and gold for the<br />
ceremony and lavender and coral for the reception.<br />
Priya especially, is an artistic person, so the<br />
overall decor and aesthetic was important to us.<br />
We wanted something soft and elegant, but<br />
impactful.<br />
HE SAID<br />
My most memorable moments were the first<br />
look and watching Priya and her parents come<br />
down the aisle. The excitement was indescribable.<br />
SHE SAID<br />
One of my most memorable moments was<br />
looking out of the window with my bridesmaids<br />
and watching the bharat singing, dancing and<br />
drumming. It definitely stirred up a lot of<br />
excitement and I was happy to get to watch,<br />
even from afar! Another moment I won't forget<br />
is waiting on my own in a back area before the<br />
ceremony started and listening to the procession<br />
before my entrance. It was a serene moment<br />
amongst all of the hustle and bustle!<br />
TIPS & ADVICE<br />
Our advice for future couples is to remember<br />
why you are there- to celebrate your love and<br />
companionship. It is also one of the few times<br />
in life where we are fortunate enough to be<br />
surrounded by everyone we love in one room.<br />
Just soak it all up!
