Edwards Architecture were approached by Keepmoat to partner
with them to bid for the Newcastle Housing Delivery Partnership
Framework, along with to Registered Providers, as part of this
process Edwards Architecture were asked to develop a scheme for
26 two bedroom bungalows (inc. two accessible) on a site within
an existing residential area of Blakelaw. As well as being included
in the framework we were successfully appoint to develop and
deliver Cambo Green.

Materiality
As lead consultant Edwards Architecture liaised with the Local
Authority project team and planning department to progress the
scheme through the planning process. The use of 3D modelling
insured that ideas could be explored full as ideas developed.
Edwards Architecture were responsible for ensure the scheme
complies with all necessary requirements including; Lifetime
Homes, Building for Life, HCA’s HQI’s, Secured by Design, The
Wheelchair Housing Guide as well as input into the achievement
of Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
