IACP Foundation wishes to thank all of our Rx Mixer 2017
contributors. Your generosity and commitment to this event
will help us meet our goals for the coming year, which
include the vitally important funding of IACP Foundation
Research Initiatives.
The IACP Foundation was established in 2003 with
an ongoing mission of supporting research and public
education initiatives that advance the art and science of
pharmacy compounding. The IACP Foundation Research
Committee was formed in June 2004 and is responsible for
defining the Foundation’s annual research agenda, to foster
IACP Foundation’s mission by seeking and recommending
research projects for funding that promote and advance
pharmacy compounding. This Committee is even more
important than ever before as we help document the value
of customized medication services through demonstration
grants, stability studies, practice-based research initiatives
and more.
Since 2005, IACP Foundation has awarded more than
$275,000 in grants to academicians and practitioners. The
IACP Foundation strongly believes pharmacy compounding
research is vital to further solidifying the role of pharmacy
in personalized medicine. Students are also the future of
compounding with $90,000 in grants to attend educational
meetings and essays.
IACP Foundation is an organization exempt from taxation
under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)3. Items
purchased may result in a charitable donation deduction on
your personal income tax return to the extent the amount
paid exceeds the value of the donation. Please seek the
advice of your tax advisor regarding the taxability of items
purchased and received.
