Adverse Reaction: Dizziness or faintness, dryness of the skin,<br />

fever, frequent urination, joint pain, muscle aching or<br />

cramping, side, lower back, or stomach pain<br />

Interactions: Simvastatin: Using simvastatin together with<br />

niacin may increase the risk of a rare but serious condition<br />

called rhabdomyolysis that involves the breakdown of<br />

skeletal muscle tissue.
