At Dublin Whiskey Tours, we only use the best.
This includes the whiskey, the bars, the food and
the guides themselves.
Set up in late 2015, Dublin Whiskey Tours was one
of the first companies offering whiskey tours in
Dublin. We differ from other whiskey tours in the
quality of our whiskey bars, guides and the
whiskeys we choose for you to sample.
Speaking of whiskeys, we only use the highest
quality whiskeys with a long tradition of quality.
So you could end up trying Jameson, Powers,
Green Spot, Teeling & Redbreast all on the same
tour. Add in the knowledge and history you will
experience and you have a perfect recipe for a
perfect tour.
On your tour you will get to see inside Victorian
bars, traditional Dublin pubs and some modern
whiskey establishments. You will also get to see
beautiful Dublin architecture and culture as you
wind between each whiskey establishment.
All our guides are Dublin born and bred. We only
picked the best and then we trained as a team
with the industry's finest. You get decades of
whiskey knowledge, Dublin humour and a warm
and friendly welcome. You can be assured of an
authentic Dublin experience.

WHISKEY
OUR SELECTION
You will get to sample 5 beautiful Irish whiskey's on your
tour. You will be tasting all aged statement whiskeys, with
the youngest being 12 years old. This selection is all style
and substance.
POWERS SPECIAL RESERVE
Powers 12 Year old, like the standard Powers, is a blend
with a good dollop of pot still content. Aged in exbourbon
casks with a small amount also aged in sherry
wood. A great start to any tasting
YELLOW SPOT
Yellow Spot is 100% pot still whiskey. Ex-bourbon and
sherry casks are supplemented by some Malaga casks
that previously held Pedro Ximenez wine. One of Samuel
Beckett's favourite whiskeys.
KNAPPOQUE 16
The 16 year old Knappogue Castle was triple distilled at
Bushmills distillery. It has been finished in sherry casks
and is one of the most sought after whiskeys in Ireland,
limited bottles sold per year.
JAMESON 18
Varying styles of pot still whiskeys dominate this luxury
blend, which has only a small amount of grain whiskey
added to bring some extra smoothness. One of Jameson's
highest rated whiskeys.
REDBREAST 21
This 21 year old is one of our favourite Irish whiskeys of
all time. It is packed with rich, spiced fruit flavours and
has been voted Irish whiskey of the year in 2016.

FOOD
OUR SELECTION
All of our food has been hand selected to contrast and
enhance the whiskey. Each ingredient is their for a
reason. So we have melt in the mouth Irish cheese,
organic fruits to cleanse the palate and decadent Irish
handmade chocolate to leave you feeling spoiled.
IRISH ARTISAN CHEEESE
We will sample some great Irish artisan cheese such as
Coolea from County Clare and Gubbeen from County
Cork. All handmade and chosen to go nicely with our
whiskey selection.
HANDMADE CHOCOLATES
Our chocolate is handmade at Cocoa Atelier in the
centre of Dublin city. We have chosen the best chocolate
to compliment the whiskeys we will try. Some of our
favourites are Rose & Raspberry and Yuzu.
CRACKER & FRUITS
We selected our fruit and cracker selection with the help
of the chefs at the Rag Trader. We have used celery and
melon to cleanse the palate. We have also selected Rye
& Linseed Crackers and Irish Soda bread crackers to give
a bit of bite to the cheese and fruits.

THE BARS

One of the newest whiskey bars in the city and
gaining a great reputation for its quality & comfort.
The Dingle Whiskey Bar is situated beside Grafton
Street, though you wouldn't know it, as you can find
a beautiful seclusion in here.
The bar has its very own whiskey to sample, Dingle
Single Malt, which is the first independent whiskey
distilled in Ireland in over 50 years.
So sit back and take in the bespoke seating, wooden
barrel staves adorning the wall, and their great
selection of uisce beatha.
T H E R A G T R A D E R
The Rag Trader is named after the old Dublin linen
trade that once dominated the area. The area now is
a thriving blend of hipster cafes, boutique shops and
modern Dublin charm.
The bar itself has a lovely old world charm, art deco
fireplaces warm the re-purposed wood seating and
clientele.
The perfect place to enjoy some decadent Irish food
and beautiful Irish whiskey. One of the cities hidden
gems.

tour so you can be assured of high quality
throughout the tour. The whole selection process
has been informed by the best in the business.

more you get out. This is the city of Wilde, Beckett
& Joyce so learning in Dublin should come easy.
