Lincoln Festivities

To celebrate the 800th anniversary of the
Battle of Lincoln, the town is putting on
a summer to remember, based on
the events of 1217. The Domesday
Book will be exhibited at
Lincoln Castle from 27 May,
among other historic gems.
In the city’s medieval streets,
you’ll find occasional markets
and fairs, sculptures and reenactments
that all capture
the feelings of the age.

organised a museum sleepover
