EFFECTS OF <strong>HARASSMENT</strong> Harassment at workplace includes humiliating, threatening and intimidating workers regardless of gender, race, religion and characteristic that would disturb the harmony at the work place and it concerns the peace between the multiracial country like Malaysia. Workplace bullying like isolating a worker can derive stress, anxiety, depression and fear to the bullied. WHY NEED TO KEEP IT SILENT ? Workplace harassment can give the negativity to physical and emotional health. Any act of discrimination that disadvantages an employee is considered as workplace harassment. However, why so many victims of sexual harassment stay silent? And a statistic shows that 69% victims did not complain to management from India. The survey exposed that most of the victims felt embarrassed, feared and short of trust on reporting to the management. If you are facing an inappropriate comment, unwelcome touching, physical harassment and fairly not being treated well by their peers and colleagues, you are the victim of the harassment. You shouldn’t worries when reporting it but you should worry if you keep silence. Don’t let this manipulated you that ruin your future in silence. You deserved better. 5
