systems, the steel standard screwlink offers high
strength for its weight. Screwlinks are much more
secure than karabiners. Regard them as essential
if there is any possibility that the connector may be
cross loaded. It is essential to ensure the screw barrel
is fully closed during use.

This equal D Kwiklok karabiner works well within
arborist applications as the triple action security
minimizes the risk of accidentally opening the
mechanism and gate in complicated rope-running
scenarios. D shape provides large internal volume
at both ends. 10mm bar section for lightness
and strength. Cold forged and fully heat treated
carbon steel for high strength and durability.

Petzl Am'D Asymmetrical Karabiner
The Am’D lightweight asymmetric karabiner is
made of aluminum. It has a D shape particularly
suited for connection to diverse equipment such as
descenders or positioning lanyards. Its fluid interior
design and Keylock system facilitate handling. The
Am’D karabiner is available in three locking systems:
automatic TRIACT-LOCK or BALL-LOCK system, or
