Warbirds Over Wanaka Airshow
For three days over Easter, the picturesque
lakeside resort town of Wanaka becomes centre
stage of a world-famous Warbirds Airshow. Now
acclaimed as the largest airshow of its kind in
the southern hemisphere and one of the top
four Warbirds airshows in the world, this biennial
event has now been operating for 30 years.
Your 3 day Gold Pass means you will enjoy
the best seats at the airshow, in a grandstand
directly in front of the runway. Enjoy the famous
TranzAlpine train, regarded as one of the most
scenic rail journeys in the world and overnight in
the glacier village of Franz Josef.
