CHURCH SERVICES at ST.EATA'S, ATCHAM<br />
<strong>Jun</strong>e and <strong>Jul</strong>y - There is a Eucharist [Book of<br />
Common Prayer] every Sunday at 11am.<br />
A Curate will be joining the Parish in the<br />
summer and plans are in hand for a party at the<br />
Malthouse to welcome him and his family -<br />
more details next issue.<br />
Advance Notice :- A Bridge Afternoon will be<br />
held in the Malthouse on Sunday October 9th<br />
with lunch. Tables are already being booked so<br />
if you would like any information you can<br />
contact Gill on 01952 740747.<br />
Food Bank :- The P.C.C. decided that a box be available in Church for a trial period during the Service on the<br />
last Sunday of each month. A list of most urgently needed items can be found on the Notice Board in the<br />
Church.<br />
Annual Parochial Church Meeting :- This was held on Thursday 27th April when the present Church Officers<br />
were re-elected for <strong>2017</strong>/18. The members heard that there were 68 persons on the Church Electoral Roll, 7<br />
weddings last year, 4 baptisms and 220 visitors from all over the world had signed the Visitors' Book. A new<br />
carpet has been purchased for the aisle and font area.<br />

2pm with Duck Race at 3.30pm<br />
This Annual popular event raises much needed<br />
funds for the day to day running of this very historic<br />
Church. Entry is free with lots of stalls, tea and<br />
cakes plants, lots of entertainment and a Raffle. Buy<br />
your duck on the day for £1.<br />
Help on the Friday evening [30th <strong>Jun</strong>e] is needed to<br />
erect tents and stalls. If anyone feels they<br />
could give an hour of their time "thank you" in<br />
advance.<br />
