Band Profile: Just Nuisance<br />
Just Nuisance is an established 5-piece<br />
rock covers band based <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Milton<br />
Keynes area. Their style is<br />
contemporary and classic<br />
rock. With <strong>the</strong>ir own take<br />
on <strong>the</strong> orig<strong>in</strong>als <strong>the</strong>y play<br />
music from great bands<br />
like The Who, Led Zeppel<strong>in</strong>,<br />
Th<strong>in</strong> Lizzy, Kasabian,<br />
Red Hot Chilli Peppers,<br />
Stereophonics, Foo Fighters<br />
and many more.<br />
Just Nuisance, just rock!<br />
In March <strong>2017</strong> <strong>the</strong>y<br />
celebrated 11 years of hard<br />
rock<strong>in</strong>g, with 3 of <strong>the</strong> orig<strong>in</strong>al<br />
members still on board,<br />
<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g front man Guy<br />
Mills. The o<strong>the</strong>r 4 guys <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
band are, Neil Burrows, Phil<br />
Mayhew, Rich Welch, and Pete Beads.<br />

The band take <strong>the</strong>ir name from a very<br />
special dog. Just Nuisance<br />
was <strong>the</strong> first and only dog<br />
to be officially enlisted <strong>in</strong>to<br />
<strong>the</strong> Royal Navy dur<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Wold War 2. A Great Dane,<br />
Nuisance was a stray who<br />
was adopted by sailors<br />
based at Simonstown, near<br />
Cape Town. He became a<br />
trusted friend of <strong>the</strong> sailors<br />
and accompanied <strong>the</strong>m on<br />
<strong>the</strong>ir trips <strong>in</strong>to <strong>the</strong> town’s<br />
bars enjoy<strong>in</strong>g a beer. He was<br />
also known to have had a<br />
particular dislike of officers<br />
and paid little attention<br />
to rules and regulations<br />
on <strong>the</strong> base. Today Just<br />
Nuisance has a statue on <strong>the</strong> promenade <strong>in</strong><br />
Simonstown, SA.<br />

This is a martial arts and self defence<br />
club for everyone, complete beg<strong>in</strong>ners,<br />
lapsed students, and current martial artists.<br />
Neil Malpas <strong>the</strong> club sensei is an<br />
experienced practitioner and teacher and<br />
welcomes all with a genu<strong>in</strong>e desire to<br />
