Since the beginning<br />
Mengi Yay is one of the most long-established yacht building companies in Turkey with the<br />
experience since 1964. Our company was established by Ramazan Mengi in Ayvansaray<br />
as a small workshop.<br />
The adventure began in Ayvansaray with 3 meters of boat construction, continued moving<br />
to Nuh Industrial Site Cooperative established in Tuzla in 1984.
and the story so far<br />
The company began constructions of steel boats in 2006 and nowadays building mega<br />
yachts in their own yard hangars. Successes of Mengi Yay were confirmed in 2011, 2012<br />
and 2015 with the Yacht and Boat Construction award of Gold Anchor Maritime Success<br />
Awards and İstanbul Exporters’ Union (İEU) Turkey Third awards.

Aquarius<br />

POWERYACHT OVER 40 METERS AWARD<br />
45 meters motoryacht Aquarius which we completed with NB93 production code was delivered to the owner in August 2016 with the workforce of approximately 70 people in 19<br />
months. This luxury motor yacht has a semi-displacement hull, she is made of wood epoxy laminating technology and has three decks.
‘‘The boat has a straight bow and provides a very<br />
comfortable cruising in the sense of stability.’’<br />
Lounge is big enough to accomodate large guest communities. Kitchen with very large space is located on the main deck. There are 4 guest cabins and 1 master<br />
cabin on the boat. Luminous master cabin thanks to large side windows is quite spacious. RINA-Short Range Charter Classified yacht’s sound insulation applied in<br />
all areas at high standarts. Additionally comfort class certification has been given to the yacht thanks to very low decibel and vibration values.
She looks very interesting with her four opening side and aft doors. There is a huge beach club on the stern side. Her beach club offers ample space for sun loungers with side openings. Sitting<br />
on the edge, with feet dangling over the side and drink in hand, might just make for one of the most perfect moments. All of these, doors opening from sides and aft together with balconies in<br />
the master cabin, add her own soul.
Aquarius has 2XCAT C32 1450hp engines and<br />

Seleda has been delivered to the owner after 18 months of work. 27 meters semi displacement yacht has got laminated wooden hull and superstructure.<br />
11 knots at 1900 rpm per hour/fuel consumption 2x33 LT/Range : 1666 miles
2 x 800 Hp Diesel Mans gives her 17 knot top speed , 2 generators<br />
in engine room for operating all electric system and full air<br />
conditions.She has got all navigation equipments and Trac hydroalic<br />
stabilizers,bow and stern thrusters.Seleda has got huge<br />
interior and exterior spaces with 4 cabins+2 crew cabins for 4<br />
crew and amazing foredeck sitting group convertible to sunbed<br />
area.
Blue Pleasure<br />

Aluminium superstructure ensures the gravity center of boat to be drawn towards downside and more comfortable cruise on the sea.2x CAT 32 engines gives her<br />
17 knot max. speed. The boat consists of 1 master and 4 guest cabins and one main salon.

My Steel<br />
41 Metre / Wooden / 2011<br />
Hull and superstructure of the RINA classified boat which construction started in October 2009 year is wood. 3 layers of cross coating has been applied to hull.<br />
The Keel, wale and posts of the boat have been made in epoxy-laminate system. Marine certified plywoods have been used in all sections.
Half displacement hull form with it’s design charaterictics provides easy<br />
and comfortable acceleration to 19 knot. The boat is rather comfortable<br />
even in windy and wavy sea-weather conditions thanks to her form and<br />
stabilizer.<br />
There are 4 guest cabins and 1 master cabin at the boat. The master cabin<br />
is lightened with wide glasses at the board side, so it is very luminous.<br />
The saloon has a capacity to accommodate large guest communities. A<br />
wide place is allocated for the kitchen of boat on the main deck.
Y<br />

Boat can reach 25 knot speed easily with 2x1925 HP Main Engines thanks to her special form. There are 4 guest cabins and 1 deck master cabin which is lightened with wide<br />
glasses both sides . The saloon has a capacity to accommodate large guest communities. A wide place is allocated for the kitchen of boat on the main deck.
Magnolia<br />

Boat with classical lines was delivered to her owner in April 2010 at the end of 20 months working. The form of boat is displacement and rather comfortable even at windy and<br />
wavy weather thanks to her form.She has got 1 master, 3 quest cabins and owner’s office.
Gweilo<br />

2 spar schooner style sailboat can reach to 16 knot speed with 2x580 HP main engines. 3 guests and 1 master cabin, her saloon has a capacity to accommodate large guest communities.<br />
Massive furniture gives heavy and sophisticated atmosphere to her.
The boat which has been engineered by famous Dutch designer Dykstra Naval Architects was delivered to her owner at the end of 21 Months working.
