Think Like Deborah
to go all out without regard to the natural
odds.
The challenge is, we will never know
unless we are willing to put our hands to the
task. I must tell you that along the “Deborah
road,” I’ve been learning more and more to
detach from the “what if” fear and connect
more to the slogan, “just do it.” How can
you learn, let alone course-correct if you are
too scared to risk something? Or too scared
to trust God for the favorable outcome? As
I see it, “risk” (thoughtfully done), is another
word for faith! I had my answer and thus,
began the quest to plumb the depths of what
Deborah wanted to share with me.
As long as you are in a physical body
striving for more of what you desire, there
will be times when you will stumble. The
only questions are when? Over what will
you stumble? and even more so, what will
it cost you? Most important, though, will you
have the courage to keep moving? These
are all questions I grappled with as I re-examined
my life in light of the courage I saw
unfolding through Deborah’s journey.
The crisis could be a sudden personal
setback, a costly mistake or what you
thought was a well-planned action that took
a wrong turn. You may be called to sacrifice
