Nothing exemplifies it better than the nostalgic feeling one gets
when leafing through the dusty old pages of his/her college
newsletter. It can make the reader travel down the lanes of
memory, giving rise to a surge of emotions of many hues and
colors.
The editorial board proudly welcome you all to its unique creation
in the form of Annual Newsletter ‘Rays’ which every year serves
as a platform to highlight the literary and artistic segment of the
AKGIM family. It also highlights the educational, cultural and
sports activities of the institute. The essential purpose of rays is to
inform, engage and entertain a diverse readership- including
alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends of AKGIM, by
presenting an intimate, timely and honest portrait of the instituteits
people, its programs, its history, its resources and its mission.
In the originality of its conception, in the excellence of its writing
and visual presentation and its commitment to accuracy, healthy
disclosure and editorial balance, the Rays endeavors to reflect the
values and the quality of the Institution itself.
The Editorial team remains grateful to the management, director
and staff members of AKGIM for assisting us in submitting
material, photographs and content for the newsletter.
