Mobile Mark's RFID Panel Antennas are perfect for RFID
systems, as well as other applications in the ISM band.
They are designed to operate in close proximity to metal,
which normally has a tendency to detune antennas.
The PN7 Series antennas are available in circularly polarized
(US models are RHCP; EU models are LHCP). With
7 dBic gain, these antennas provide significant performance
improvements over a micro-sized patch. They
can be mounted in any setting including directly against
metal. This is useful for a variety of applications, but particularly
for mounting on forklifts.
Model series PN7 antennas are small 6.75" H x 6.75" W
x 2"D (172 mm x172mm x 50 mm) and attractive. The
antennas are provided with 4 corner holes for mounting
flush to a surface. An optional kit readily accommodates
mounting to the load back rest of a forklift truck for palletized
scanning.
The antenna is available in 2 styles, a direct N connector
version, as well as a coaxial "Pigtail" version. The coax
The PN7 Series has a DC shorted front end and is compatible
with antenna sensing circuits found in the current
generation of RFID readers. If your reader has a feature
that requires a 10K ohm resistor, the PN7 antenna can
be special ordered with this feature.
