LP: Peter…….oh, Peter Zelaskowski, <strong>Contexts</strong> editor.<br />
PZ: Yeah, that’s me. Can I check you said Lavinia, didn’t you used to<br />
be Davinia?<br />
LP: No, that’s my sister, she’s the one who’s a therapist but not a<br />
<strong>Group</strong> Analyst, although she does work with groups a lot. We’ve got<br />
another sister called Crystal, but we don’t talk about her. Our parents<br />
were crap at names.<br />
PZ: I need some copy for the next <strong>Contexts</strong> and understand you’re<br />
going to Berlin, so wondered if you could write something on your<br />
thoughts, feelings and expectations about going there.<br />
LP: Well I can tell you now, if that’s a help.<br />
PZ: Sure, go ahead.<br />
LP: Well, I worked for Age UK once when I thought I needed to come<br />
to terms with getting older and in my early days there I was at one of<br />
their resource centres having lunch. I was sitting next to a woman who<br />
was 82 when she started talking about her experience at the end of the<br />
war. Her parents were Polish/ Hungarian, they had met and got<br />
married in East Berlin. As the Russians rolled in they jumped in the<br />
back of a truck to the West leaving all their possessions behind. This<br />
reminds me that refugees are what they are for a reason and that<br />
immigrants are emigrating with cause. I associate Berlin with division
