CASE STUDY<br />
When items to be stored in lockers have a very specific purpose<br />
a bespoke solution is often required. A prime example of<br />
this can be found in the problem faced by West Yorkshire<br />
Police in the storage of police support equipment (PSU).<br />
The solution combined lockers with units that were purpose<br />
designed to accommodate personal issue PSU equipment. The<br />
mesh cages are located directly underneath the full height lockers<br />
which themselves provide both changing and shelf storage.<br />
Separate female and male changing areas have now been fitted<br />
with individual locker and PSU cages that carry up to date personal<br />
issue equipment as specified by the Home Office. Both lockers<br />
and cages are accessible via keys assigned to individual officers.<br />
The majority of the facility also benefits from wooden<br />
bench seating to complement the locker installation<br />
and deliver a comfortable changing environment.<br />
