The ESO Summer Concert
The ESO (English Symphony Orchestra or English String
Orchestra depending on ensemble) is a classical music
organisation based in Worcestershire. It was founded
in 1978 and has since developed its reputation for
specialising in British music through live performance
and many recordings.
The ESO has for a long time shown its commitment to
young people through a number of ESO organised
education schemes. We are thrilled that in 2008 the ESO
decided to make their home at Malvern St James, and
will present a concert here each term.
