I spent nearly a year developing the company’s courses
and as of this writing there are over 30 of them. I wanted
every educational experience to become an event and I
wanted the courses to set the tone for each event.
Each event would serve a customized purpose and all of
the events would have a “mountain” theme to them.
Why?
To get as far away from corporate America as possible. To
change the environment, to change the way my students
think and to not be distracted by civilization and
familiarity.
This is why I needed to locate a place and establish a
training business that would represent these values. For
months I studied various parts of the country from
Portland, Oregon to northern Michigan t0 upstate New
York. I finally found the perfect location near the Blue
Ridge Mountains in Asheville, North Carolina.
After a few prototype events in Ohio, PEAK Performance
Professionals® officially moved to Hendersonville, NC
(just south of Asheville).
