Unlike other expensive cosmetic dentistry

that can get you results but not as quickly or
dramatically as a prescription grade whitener.
When I was in high school I had braces, (I was
known as “metal mouth”) they were terrible!
But I now have straight teeth as an adult, so
the braces were well worth it. When I got the
braces off my orthodontist gave me
something called “Opalescence.” It came in a
small syringe like tube that he instructed me
to put on my retainer at night, in order to
whiten my teeth. After about a week not only
did I start to notice a difference, but one day
while I was at school in my environmental
ethics class, the girl whom sat at my table
noticed. I always thought she was cute but
never mustered up the stamina to talk to her.

She mentioned my teeth and asked if I was
eating an apple everyday (biting into an apple
can actually help whiten your teeth naturally).
My whiter teeth became a conversation
starter! Ever since then I realized the
importance of having white healthy teeth. I
used other products like the CREST 3D white
strips but nothing seemed to be as effective
and convenient to use as what my old
orthodontist gave me. Since I had my braces
off I never went to see him again and I didn’t
have access to that prescription strength
whitener. Nothing else I tried was as effective
as the Opalescence. The other products
would either irritate my gums or simply slip
off my teeth at night. You really do get what
you pay for when you buy the common, low
quality whitener that you could find sitting on
a shelf at your local Wal-Mart. I began looking
online for the same brand my orthodontist
gave me. And sure enough I found it. Right on
amazon! Instead of having to pay almost 20
dollars per syringe I was able to snag it for
about 45 bucks for 8 syringes, which was
enough to last me up to 18 months! I lost my
retainer along time ago, but the pack comes
with 3 reusable whitening trays, which was
