OUR STORY<br />
Since 1952 we have been using the actual flame from burning natural<br />
wood to roast our coffee in Tuscany Italy. The flame is blown directly<br />
into the coffee beans to roast them in a unique technique called direct<br />
flame roasting. This method is totally different from wood roasting.<br />
Direct flame roasting gives the coffee a unique and distinctive taste.<br />
We probably have the last operating 1952 Vittoria which roasts coffee<br />
from the flames of burning Italian oak. This is an artisan method<br />
brought down through generations of Italian Master Roasters.<br />
Because of our <strong>product</strong>ion limitations and because there are no more<br />
1952 Vittoria machines, there is a limit to how much coffee we can roast.<br />
<strong>MiKoffee</strong> is a gourmet brand made in Tuscany, the land known for some<br />
of the greatest artist of the renaissance period. We have been producing<br />
quality coffee for 65 years in Montecatini, a city close to Pisa, Chianti &<br />
Florence.<br />
