Greenwich House After-School and Summer Arts Camp 2017-2018

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The history of Greenwich House Music School (GHMS)
stretches back to 1905, when we were founded in the
settlement tradition with a mission to provide arts and
cultural programs to help our community expand
experiences and lead more fulfilling lives. The goal of
GHMS is to teach students the beauty and transformative
power of music, art and dance and make them lifelong
lovers of the arts.
GHMS serves the community through diverse programs,
including private and group instruction in piano, violin,
cello, viola, woodwinds, brass, guitar, drums, harp and
voice, as well as early childhood programs in dance, visual
arts and movement. The school is proud to offer over
$40,000 each year in financial aid for students, based on
merit and need.
The faculty is comprised of seasoned professionals
utilizing a curriculum that fosters the transition from early
childhood programs into private and group instruction.
Students are encouraged to maintain a connection with
GHMS throughout their lives, returning year after year to
continue their studies. We hope you will join us; exciting
