When Christ constrained
the disciples
to enter the
boat, they did not argue, they
entered the boat. He then went to
pray for them. (Matt 14:22-24)
Today, God commands (constrains)
us to obey His commandments;
to do His will. The same
way Christ went to pray for His
disciples is the same way God
As you read this am not sure whether you
are alive or dead. Likewise, as you claim
your righteousness, only God can discern your rotting
frame, slowly wasting away to the world. Only
the devil can tell how much he has attempted to
pull you closer to him, that you may be a walking
dead.

Beloved of the most
high, can’t you hear the
solemn call: for how
long shall you crave
for death, while life has
been served to you on
a silver plate? For how
long shall you grope
blindly on the wide narrow
way? For how long
shall you smile feigningly
at the face of death? Shall you not choose to live?
Shall you not heed to the sweet message of the
cross: I died to set you free, that you might have
live, and have it abundantly.
Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your
backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou
art the LORD our God (Jeremiah 3:22)
And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted
in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou
wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when
thou wast in thy blood: Live. (Ezekiel 16:1)

watches over us when we do His
will. He knows that the world is
not skewed to accept it. Sometimes
you may ask, “Where were
you when all these things happened?”
you may be forced to go
for classes when you should be
in church, communing with your
Father, you may be forced to do
laborious duties when you instead
ought to be “keeping the Sabbath
Holy” or be called out of the
church to do what heaven demands
not, but in all these things,
the Lord bids, “My son/daughter,
do not be discouraged. Be faithful
to the end. Though the path is
narrow and the ride rough, I will
always be with you. It may pain
but I am always there for you”
Every good deed is recorded.
Every suffering for the Lord is
recorded. Your reward may not
be realized here on earth but it’s
surely there in Heaven. If we just
do God’s will and obey His commandments
including the fourth,
we will emerge victorious. If victory
was achieved through the
physical death, then it can be
achieved under all circumstances.
Do His will and leave the rest to
God’s hands! He spins the planets
and lights up the stars. He controls
the world and everything in it
alongside the heavens. “Then said
he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for
from the first day that thou didst
set thine heart to understand and
to chasten thyself before thy God,
thy words were heard, and I am
come for thy words.” (Daniel 10:12)
God answered Daniel’s prayer at
last! Endure! O soldier of Christ!
Endure!
To keep the love of God before me as my chief good
and highest joy; to find in it my most supreme counsel,
and in the way of God my fullest measure of contentment;
to possess in Christ all the fullness of God, and the perfect
model of my character; to realize the greatest riches in a
virtuous life, and to achieve my highest honor in the loving
service of my fellow men; to learn in study and prayer the
genius of most valuable and
abiding work, and to hold my
talents as a trust from God.
To satisfy my social tastes
in companionship of sincere
people, and to make all society
better by my presence; to add
some knowledge and strength
to myself each day, that I be not

unprepared and fail in some great and trying hour; to avoid
the compromise of my character, and the giving of an advantage
of evil against myself into the hands of the vicious,
whereby I might be humiliated and undone in the presence
of honor; to invest liberally in the grace of human kindness;
to give no favour to the wrong, and to waste no time nor talent
in that which does not count for good, to know the right
in all my relations, and to be loyal to it; not to be ashamed to
be on the moral side of every question, and to be there; to be
strong in my convictions, chaste in my sentiments, magnanimous
in my spirit, open-hearted in my spirit, open-hearted in
my fellowship, and gentle in my address.
To let the spiritual inspire me above the material passions
and rewards; to find a great reason for all that I do, and to do
my best in all I find; to go to the full length of my appointed
time, render a full measure of the appointed task, reach the
full stature of a man in Christ, and be ready when He calls.
