Brad Paisley returns to
Riverbend Music Center
in the midst of his
Weekend Warrior Tour
for one night - Aug.
5. Supporting the tour
are American country
music, singer, songwriters,
Dustin Lynch
and Chase Bryant along
with Canadian country
music, singer songwriter
Lindsay Ell.
44 year old Paisley is
touring on his twelfth
and newest album, Love
& War, released in April.
Since Paisley’s debut
back in 1999, he has
released number 1 song
after number 1 song. In
fact, Paisley currently
holds the record for
the most consecutive
singles to reach number
1 on the U.S. Billboard
Country Airplay chart.
The second single from
the album, “Today”,
broke all of Paisley’s
previous digital sales
records and became the
24th number 1 song of
Paisley’s career. Over
the years, the country
singer has performed
many collaborations
with other famous musicians,
including Mick
Jagger, Demi Lovato,
and John Fogerty.
So, you can certainly
look forward to a slew
of on-stage surprises.
An outdoor amphitheater,
Riverbend Music
Center, located in
Cincinnati, along the
banks of the Ohio River,
is the only large venue
for concerts in the area.
The venue accommodates
20,500 spectators
and was one of very few
outdoor venues in the
nation at the time of its
construction. Because
of this feature, the
music center is credited
with revitalizing the
Cincinnati music scene.
The show begins at 7
p.m., doors open at 5
p.m. on Thursday, Aug.

The Fashion Meets
Music Festival (FMMF)
is the only event in
the country dedicated
to the fusion of fashion
and music. FMMF
combines two of the
city’s great loves into
one celebration, elevating
music and fashion
to a shared experience
featuring live performances,
runway shows,
and other unique activations.
On its journey,
FMMF strives to identify
Columbus as a national
leader in music, fashion,
dining, art and
education, partnering
with local brands and
businesses to showcase
the best of the city.
Headlining the music
arm of FMMF 2017 will
be: Third Eye Blind,
DNCE, Fetty Wap,
T-Pain, Tegan and Sara,
and St. Lucia. Additional

CLEVELAND AUG. 23

The incomparable Ms.
Lady Gaga returns to
Cleveland on Wednesday,
Aug. 23 at the
Quicken Loans Arena.
Lady Gaga began
touring in 2008 in what
was to be known as The
Fame Ball Tour supporting
her first studio album,
The Fame. She has
described that venture
as “a travelling museum
show” intermingling
her fresh methodologies
with Andy Warhol’s
pop-performance art
concept style. The tour
was highly acclaimed,
introducing the globe
to her electrifying vocal
clarity and skills as a
theatrical performer
both for her innovative
fashion sense and ability
to perform with quite
professional artistry.
Her current tour,
called Joanne, in support
of the album of the
same name, kicks off
in Vancouver, British
Columbia on Aug. 1 and
will span North America
and Europe before
it boomerangs back to
the U.S. in Las Vegas on
Dec. 16.
The tour is the artist’s
first proper tour
since co-headlining
the Cheek to Cheek
Tour with Tony Bennett
in 2014-2015.
The single, “Joanne”
from her studio album
Artpop peaked at #1
on the Billboard 200
last October after the
Americana-inspired
single was showcased in
televised performances
on Saturday Night Live,
The Victoria’s Secret
Fashion Show, The
American Music Awards
and the UK’s hit reality
show, The X-Factor.
Gaga preceded the Joanne
Tour with a three
date, promotional “Dive
Bar Tour” at which she
performed abbreviated
sets filled with such
album cuts as “Million
Reasons”, “Perfect
Illusion’ and “John
Wayne” among several
other accolades. Gaga
announced the Tour
after her performance
at the Super Bowl LI
Halftime Show, spiking
her Twitter following to
an astonishing 65.1 million
adoring fans.
