KIM WRIGHT
Kim trained at Tiffany Theatre College and continued
her drama training at the Tom Todoroff Acting Studios in
New York. Theatre credits include; Between You & Me
(Brighton Fringe/Mankind UK), A Christmas Carol (The
Core at Corby Cube), Jekyll & Hyde UK Tour (Talking
Scarlet), The Writer’s Bloc (Unmasked Theatre), The
Vagina Monologues (Speak Up! Act Out! Theatre
Company), Scrooge Inspired: A Christmas Carol (Gary
Sefton), Jig & Saw (Scarlett Entertainment), The Trial (Crimson Horse Theatre
Company), Uncle Montague’s Stories from the Shadows (ONO Theatre
Company/Gary Sefton), Fragile (Gutted Film & Theatre Company), The Legion
(Practical Productions)
Kim is also director & founder of JK Theatre Arts, a theatre company in Sussex
providing opportunities for young creatives to explore the art of storytelling
through drama, physical theatre & dance.
DARREN CHEEK
Damn Cheek Productions is a vibrant, innovative
theatre company, with a vast wealth of experience,
dedicated to taking new writing to traditional
art spaces and alternative venues around the country.
With over 20 years as an actor, writer and director, Darren
has performed main roles at several of the UK’s leading
regional theatres, including Citizens Theatre Glasgow,
Birmingham Repertory, Dukes Theatre Lancaster, Southwold Rep, as well as
roles at various West End Theatres including Theatre Royal Haymarket, The
Ambassadors Theatre and The Royal Court, as well as regular film and TV
appearances.
Darren’s extensive directing experience encompasses classical, contemporary,
educational, devised, regional touring and pantomime, for professional,
amateur, adult, student and children’s companies in Britain and abroad. He has
been actively involved in the writing and development of many new plays since
1997 – as a director, actor, teacher, writer and dramaturg. He has since worked
as Associate Director for UnFit Productions, YCT and Kipper Tie, and as Co-
Artistic Director of Damn Cheek Productions.
