<strong>Schumacher</strong> offers a wide range of hand crafted<br />
wood and paint finishes created exclusively for<br />
our products. Each finish is a multi-stage process<br />
and is meticulously applied by hand using the<br />
artisanal techniques and traditional methods<br />
of fine furniture craftsmanship.<br />
ORDERING & CUSTOMIZATION<br />
The finish must be specified when the<br />
furnishings order is placed. <strong>Finish</strong> colors may<br />
vary on actual pieces from what is shown on<br />
this chart. Subtle variations in shading, color<br />
and detail of wood and paint finishes may<br />
occur due to hand applied techniques.<br />
Custom wood or paint finishes may be ordered<br />
for any piece, using your own paint color or<br />
finish sample. <strong>Schumacher</strong> will provide strike-off<br />
samples for approval for any custom or premium<br />
paint or wood finish. Please refer to your<br />
<strong>Schumacher</strong> Price List and Ordering Guide for<br />
additional charges on custom finishes and<br />
strike-off samples.<br />
FINISH CHART<br />
WOOD FINISHES<br />
Wood finishes are crafted with antique glazes,<br />
hand painted accents and medium distressing.<br />
The amount of distressing and sheen can be<br />
increased or decreased per written instruction at<br />
no additional charge. For any orders on skirted<br />
styles or styles with wood finished legs where no<br />
wood finish is specified, #25 Antique Chestnut<br />
finish will be applied to the exposed frame.<br />
PAINT & METAL LEAF FINISHES<br />
Paint and metal leaf finishes are crafted with<br />
antique glazes, light distressing and rubbed<br />
effects. The amount of rub-through and sheen<br />
can be increased or decreased per written<br />
instruction at no additional charge. Please refer<br />
to the <strong>Schumacher</strong> Price List and Ordering<br />
Guide for additional charges on all metal leaf<br />
and premium paint finishes.<br />
STRIPING & DETAILING<br />
Decorative frame details can be accented with<br />
metal leaf or paint striping or detailing. Select a<br />
metal leaf or paint finish to be used as an accent<br />
with any wood or paint finish shown on our finish<br />
page. Please refer to the <strong>Schumacher</strong> Price List<br />
and Ordering Guide for additional charges on<br />
metal leaf or paint striping or detailing.<br />
FERRULES & CASTERS<br />
Ferrules may be applied to finished wood legs for<br />
SH series pieces, with or without matching casters.<br />
Style options are specific to each piece due to leg<br />
size and shape. Please refer to the <strong>Schumacher</strong><br />
Price List and Ordering Guide for additional<br />
charges on all ferrule and caster options.<br />
NAIL HEADS<br />
Hand applied nail head detailing may be specified<br />
for many of <strong>Schumacher</strong>’s upholstered furnishings<br />
styles. Nail head style number, finish, placement<br />
and spacing must be indicated in writing at the<br />
time of ordering.<br />
