100 years of fun community day ballot
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion
constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open only to Australian residents. The directors, management and employees of the
Promoter, its related companies and agencies, the immediate families of the above listed persons,
and directors, management and employees of companies, business or individuals associated with this
promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 10.0am (AEST) on 15/11/2012 and ends at 11.59pm (AEST) on
02/12/2012 (‘Promotional Period’). Late entries will not be considered.
4. To enter, consumers must complete the competition entry form before 11.59pm on 02/12/2012.
5. The Promoter must receive entries during the Promotional Period. The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or
corrupted entries. The Promoter is not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other
consequences of user error.
6. A minimum of one person, from each entry party, must be 14 years of age or older. If a winning party
arrive at the event without a person over 14 years they may be refused entry.
7. Entrants will receive confirmation of their entry and will be notified on 03/12/2012 by email if they
are successful in winning a ticket to the ‘Centenary Community Day’. Further information about the
event will be issued to winners by email or post.
8. Entrants may only enter the competition once.
9. By accepting these terms, entrants will be added to the Luna Park database and grant permission to
receive promotional material.
10. Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or on-sold. Tickets are at the full responsibility of the
winners, Luna Park is not obligated to replace or reissue lost or damaged tickets.
11. Luna Park Melbourne reserves the right to refuse entry.
12. Tickets unclaimed by 10 December will be reclaimed by Luna Park Melbourne.
13. Tickets are issued at zero value. Winners will be responsible for all other expenses, including all costs
associated with attending the venue.
14. In attending this event you grant Luna Park Melbourne permission to film or photograph you and to
reproduce that film or photograph in promotional and information materials.
15. No other offers are valid in conjunction with this event.
16. If, for any reason, the Community Day is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including
but not limited to, weather conditions or technical issues, Luna Park is not obligated to reimburse,
reschedule or offer any form of compensation.
17. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify all entries from any person, and
prohibit that person’s further participation in this promotion, who tampers with, or benefits from any
tampering with, the entry process or the operation of the promotion or acts in violation of these

conditions of entry, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or
harass any person.
18. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss (including,
without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered
or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection
with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be
excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize
winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of the promotion
results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to
follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods
and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
20. All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the
Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’
personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or
communicating with entrants and winner’s name may be published as required under the relevant
legislation. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants
can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting Luna
