ABSTRACT
All bachelor degree students are required to undergo industrial training for 5 months as
part of their curriculum to complete their 3 years course for the Bachelor of Information
Science (Hons.) Library Management. The attachment will be during the7th semester
of their study. During 5 months period of training, students will be supervised and
monitored their training by two nominated supervisors.
For my industrial training, I did at Perpustakaan Jeneral Tun Ibrahim, Universiti
Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia which located at Kem Perdana, Sg Besi. Perpustakaan
Jeneral Tun Ibrahim (PJTI) was formerly known as the National Defense University of
Malaysia Library (UPNM). The library was established in May 1995 and started as the
Malaysian Academy of Military Academy. Along with the establishment of the National
Defense University of Malaysia (UPNM) in November 2006, the Library was known as
the National Defense University of Malaysia Library.
This industrial training report consists of all the information about the organizations and
the activities that I have done during industrial practical. Divide into five chapters.
Chapter one and chapter two contained all the information about the organization.
Chapter three contained all the activities that I have been done while chapter four is my
industrial practical reflection. Meanwhile, chapter five is the conclusion.

health to completing this industrial training report.
Secondly, my appreciation goes to Sir Mohd Zaihan Bin Hussin, my academic
supervisor because gave me a chance to do this report. I am so grateful for your
guidance, opinion and consideration in completing this report.
My next appreciation goes to all staff of Perpustakaan Jeneral Tun Ibrahim, Universiti
Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia for giving directly or indirectly knowledge and
experience during practical training. The industrial training opportunity I had with
Perpustakaan Jeneral Tun Ibrahim was a great chance for learning and professional
development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as I was provided
with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet so
many wonderful people and professionals who led me though this industrial training
period.
Last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude to my family for their support
during my industrial training period. Thank you for helping me and encourage me in
accomplishing this assignment.
