RICHARDSON REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER<br />
Richardson Regional Medical Center has offered<br />
compassionate medical, surgical and behavi<strong>or</strong>al<br />
health <strong>services</strong> f<strong>or</strong> m<strong>or</strong>e than 25 years. The nonprofit<br />
hospital is served by m<strong>or</strong>e than 700 staff<br />
physicians - each meeting high credentialing<br />
standards. In addition to primary care<br />
physicians, the staff includes specialists in neurosurgery, cardiology, ob/gyn, gastroenterology, oncology and<br />
many m<strong>or</strong>e.<br />
The Richardson Regional campus located at Ge<strong>or</strong>ge Bush Turnpike and Renner Road is designed to serve the<br />
fast-growing communities of Sachse, Murphy, Wylie and surrounding areas. A five-st<strong>or</strong>y, 100,000-square-foot<br />
physician pavilion currently houses m<strong>or</strong>e than 25 physicians in a variety of specialties. The Bush/Renner<br />
Campus expanded in October 2008 with the opening of a new cancer center and outpatient hospital. The<br />
Richardson Regional Cancer Center, an affiliate<br />
of UT Southwestern Medical Center, brings an<br />
advanced level of cancer care to the region by<br />
providing medical, surgical and radiation<br />
oncology <strong>services</strong> plus new therapies in drug<br />
research, genetic counseling, patient education<br />
and supp<strong>or</strong>t <strong>services</strong>. The outpatient hospital includes an emergency department and a full spectrum of clinical<br />
<strong>services</strong>, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound exams, a lab and cardiopulmonary <strong>services</strong>.A four-bed observation<br />
unit will be available f<strong>or</strong> extended care needs.<br />
The primary Campbell Campus in Richardson includes the main hospital and two four-st<strong>or</strong>y medical plazas.<br />
